Every run is seeded from the two names and the rule, so the same matchup gives the same verdict every time. The verdict goes to whoever wins most of the 1,000.

The game you watch is one the winner won in a typical way. In hoops, the margin closest to his average winning margin. In the ring and the cage, the most common finish. On the field, a middle-margin win.

The simulation is the referee. Commentary and 3D play out the result; they never change the winner or the score.
